Abstract
This article discusses the process of formation and change of scientific paradigms of civil society. Analyzing the evolution of the theory and practice of formation and development of the concept of civil society the author identifies historical and contemporary paradigms of this phenomenon. Special attention is paid to the rationale for the formation of globalization and information paradigms that significantly affect the change of the traditional interpretations of civil society.
