Abstract
The content of female sex hormones (estradiol and progesterone) in blood serum of patients with hysteromyoma before and after hysterectomy in dependence on the tumor size is studied. It is revealed that before hysterectomy concentra-tion of estradiol and progesterone in blood serum corresponds to normal values, characteristic for follicular and lute-in phases of menstrual cycle. The hysterectomy leads to decrease in the content of female sex steroids in blood serum.
