Transnational banks in central and Eastern Europe: where do Russians want to invest their money?

Abstract
The article contains the results of a fundamentally new research executed by the author. The study comprises the statistical data of unique questionnaire adaptation together with the scientific study of business situation in Russia shortly after the economic stress of late 2014. After the imposition of sanctions, the drop in oil prices and the retaliatory measures of the Russian Administration to European and American partners, the welfare of the citizens and residents worsened together with their ability to invest and save money. The general purpose of the research for this article was to find out what are the perspectives of transnational banks, both international and Russian, in getting Russian money. Some practical data and advice for banks planning to expand over Russia are given
