Abstract
The tensile properties of normalized rolled low alloy E36 steel after heat-treatment regime which includes isothermal holding at the sub-critical temperatures and subsequent normalization were investigated. Substantial increase of hardness and high plasticity conservation in the result of the preliminary heat-treatment was shown. The obtained results are in accordance with the metallographic data about fine sized grain boundary pearlite areas formation during the isothermal holding
