Abstract
The problem of the description of metal crystals, basing on new ideas of a molecular structure of substance according to which structure-forming elements are not ions as it is accepted in known models, and diatomic molecules in lattice site is discussed. Justification of a molecular structure of metals and explanation of properties and effects observed in experiment is given.
