Abstract
In this article some questions of the equal opportunities in modern gender politics in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries are considered. In the context of the interdependence of all human rights - civil, political, socio-economic and cultural, when women's rights have become an integral component of all human rights, women are most in need of factual, real, and not just legal equality, the existence of effective mechanisms for protection of their rights and equal opportunities.
