Abstract
Vegetables are one of the most important components of our daily diet as they are rich source of vitamins, minerals antioxidants, phytochemicals. Vegetables are high value crops for small and large farmers/growers. Plant parasitic nematodes are a growing concern for vegetable producers because chemical nematicides are gradually disappearing due to their deleterious effects on environment. Alternative techniques based on other management practices are needed to solve the problem. The most sustainable approaches to nematode management will integrate several tools and strategies, includes locally available management approaches. This review analyses the most recent studies related to these techniques and their integration. The fruits of success in production technology cannot be harvested without progress in protection technology. Many practices are only partially effective for nematode control thus combining effective control measures in a systemic manner to achieve the goal presents a challenge
