ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE OF WATER

The analysis of electronic structure of water in the chain of causality and effect is given: hydrogen atoms and oxygen → water molecule → ice, water. New approach to the description of the electronic structure of the water, based on new understanding of the nature of covalent link between hydrogen atoms and oxygen is offered. The model of "oxygen-hydrogen" link as a basis of creation of supramolecular structure of water is considered. Justification of the activation mechanism of intramolecular and intermolecular electron transfer is given. The main physical properties of water in the light of new ideas about the electronic structure of water are considered.
