Abstract
The issues of functioning of the C-TPAT program in the USA and legal institute of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) in the Customs Union are investigated in the article. The parallel between the specified institutes for the purpose of identification of the common and specific features in customs practice of the considered states is drawn. The actual statistics for 2014 is given. By results of research, the conclusions concerning AEO action in the Customs Union are formulated.
