State regulation of food security: current state, problems and prospects

In the article the problems of state regulation of the agrarian sector are considered, the main directions and tools are defined. The features of the legislative ensuring food security of the country are reviewed, a brief description of the main legal acts of individual components of food security are examined, defined by their shortcomings and ways of possible improvement. On the basis of generalization formulated personal position on the possibility of improving the legal regulation, namely, the necessity of further developments in the field of food security legislation and the adoption of a specialized legal act on the protection of national interests in the food sector substantiated.
