The research of this paper is that, in our country is the establishment of a regional government as an institution of democracy and the effectiveness of regional governance depends on the quality of interaction between the state and regional authorities. The aim is to study the problems of governance in the region on an example of the Chechen Republic. To do this: to determine the nature and content of governance in the region; consider technology development governance in the region; explore the problems of governance in the example of the Chechen Republic. Only a system of priority areas of social development and governance measures to implement the goals and objectives in the framework of sustainable social development in the region will enhance the level and quality of life of the population of the Chechen Republic. In this regard, in the Chechen Republic should apply the model of regional governance based on the special economic zone.
