The urgency and the need to develop effective approaches, forms, means and methods of work of the curator, contributing to the optimization of adaptation of first-year students to study at the University, at present, no doubt. In this regard, the article presents information on the topic of adaptation of students to the new environment and the factors that influence successful adaptation of freshmen by means of curatorial work.
