ХРОНИКЕР В РОМАНЕ Ф.М. ДОСТОЕВСКОГО ?БЕСЫ?

The figure of chronicler of the novel “Demons” by F.M. Dostoyevsky is considered in the article. It is taken into account a definitions of chronicler and provincial chronicle. The history of chronicler research by specialist in study of Dostoyevsky creation is in the focus too. In view of the chronicle as main subject of narration a features of narration, an author's attitude to the chronicle, a historical context exerted influence on the chronicle’s manner of narration are investigated in the article. The chronicle’s points of view and its change are explained. Besides, functions of the chronicle’s multifold narration are determined also. As a result the features of chronicler’s structural unity are revealed
