Abstract

Subjectivism has a lot of varieties. Classic subjectivism (George Berkeley, Johann Gottlieb Fichte, Ernst Mach) assumes that the world is the aggregate of sensations. With time the problem of credibility of sensations becomes less important, and signs systems, ? rst of all, the language, come to the fore as the demiurge of an individual’s internal world. With the help of the language an individual creates both external and internal world (includ- ing sensations themselves). In the culture of ХХ?ХХI centuries subjective idealism on the whole and solipsism in particular have become the metaphor of loneliness, alienation of man from public institutions
