Abstract
This article describes international experience about LAM (Library, Archive, and Museum) education. The convergence of educational programs as a factor in strengthening interaction between libraries, archives and museums in the modern system is substantiated. The main trends of convergence of educational programs are: formation of information and communication skills; orientation to interdisciplinary approaches; training of librarians and archivists on a single cognitive and organizational platform; training of specialists of library, archival and museum work as an integral system. The problems and preferences related to updating training courses are determined. Entrepreneurship as perspective direction of LAM education convergence is proposed
