Abstract

Aim. The scientific substantiation of peculiarities in the state of morbidity of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) [?.21] among the population of Ukraine. Materials and Methods. The study was carried out based on the official statistical data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine concerning the morbidity of population of Ukraine of the diseases of the circulatory system [I.00-I9.9] and AMI [?.21] in particular, for 2000, 2005, 2010 and 2013 years. Historical, medical and statistical, medical and geographical research methods and methods of structural and logical analysis, deductive awareness, based on the principles of the system approach and system analysis were used. The epidemiological data were processed and analyzed with the use of software "Miñrosoft Office Excel 2010". Results and Discussion. It was established that during the analyzed years the morbidity of AMI [?.21] among the population of Ukraine increased by +5387 cases and in 2013 constituted 50744 cases with the prevalence index of 135,7 cases per 100,000 of population, which was by +17,9% higher compared to the data of 2000 (111,3 cases per 100,000 of population). It is necessary to include during the analyzed years the following epidemiological peculiarities in the state of morbidity of AMI [?.21]: the the 4,2 times more frequent occurrence of this pathology [?.21] among urban residents compared to rural; the increase of coefficient of prevalence of AMI [?.21] among individuals of working age by +109,8% and among senior citizens by +191,6%; the 59,9% more frequent occurrence of the disease [?.21] in males; the highest rated index of morbidity level of AMI [?.21] is registered among the population of the Eastern region (155±12,3 cases per 100,000 of population) and the lowest (106±3,4 cases per 100,000 of population) - among the residents of the Western region of the country; the prevalence in the structure of morbidity of AMI [?.21] - 55,1% H/ÒÌI [I.22.0.1.8]; the low (15,8%) level of coverage by dispensary observation for those who were ill with AMI [?.21] and H/ÒÌI [I.22.0.1.8] (14,8%). Conclusion. The morbidity of AMI [?.21] among the population of Ukraine is a complicated medical and social problem, which needs to be solved through the mechanism of implementation in the community of district doctors-therapists, general practitioners/ family physicians and cardiologists of preventive technology "High risk strategy" and their effective realization of the principles of dispensary observation for this category of former patients [?.21].
