Abstract
Abstract This paper explains about the design and implementation of a hybrid power system consisting of solar and fuel cell as the sources. The main objective is to improve the performance of the system operation and enhance the system stability. It coordinates two control modes and determines the reference values for them by satisfying all the constraints. The performance of the system with and without using the controller is to be analyzed based on THD analysis. The harmonic content has to be calculated using different PWM techniques and is to be compared. It also increases the system stability by reducing the harmonics so that the system performance can be improved using the MATLAB/SIMULINK software.
