Abstract
The some techniques of a general anesthesia, the mistakes and discoveries in the field of general anesthesia
are considered in this article. The problem of finding the means of the general anesthesia and local anesthesia is considered. The interesting facts of application of local anesthesia in field conditions, and use of oxygen inhalator are considered. We have conducted archival research to clarify the picture of introduction of methods of anesthesia during the First World War.
