Abstract
The results of calculation of the ratio of oxygen concentrations at the bottom and top of the bath during the process is given. As for the oxidizing smelting, and in the vacuum decarburization the maximum concentration difference in the upper and lower layers up to about 12% oxygen, to carbon - about 0,2%
