The data presented in the study are based on clinical examination and on history. The mean age of patients was 34 (±12.3) years with a range 18-52 years. Out of 347gynecological patients 67 (19.3%) were found with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding. In the present study it was observed that the prevalence of menorrhagia was high as compared to other Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, followed by oligomenorrhoea, polymenorrhoea, Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding and hypomenorrhoea. Out of 67 patients of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, 20 (29.2%) patients had menorrhagia followed by oligomenorrhoea 12 (18.5%), polymenorrhoea 14 (21.3%), dysfunctional uterine bleeding 13 (19.4%) and 8 (11.6%) patients had hypomenorrhoea. Patients presenting with menstrual irregularities must be screened properly as incidence of menorrhagia is high in reproductive age group.
