Abstract

The term multicultural competence was shaped in 1988 by a psychologist Paul Pedersen. This phenomenon was later transferred to a large number of sciences and activities. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze a substantial component of cultural competence of the doctor and carry out a comparative analysis of approaches to its development in multiethnic countries
