Abstract
The aim of the article is to develop models and methods for determining the electrodynamic forces (EDF) in the structural elements of the torsatron magnetic system. analytical methods based on the application of the laws of Biot-Savart Laplace and Ampere were used for determining the EDF. The dependences of the magnetic field distribution and the forces acting on current discrete elements of the helical coil were obtained. Results may be used in determining the strain in structural elements, and a search in which extremes currents strength characteristics of the used materials reaches the limit of proportionality
