Community development: essence and approaches (foreign review)

The main approaches in community development was investigated. We divided theories in community development into five types, as a process, method, program, social movement and result. The main criteria and type of changes in the development community were considered. It was identified the main directions of efforts to improve living conditions in the community. We indicated that community development could be seen as a philosophical concept, which at first gave the desire to make changes in their community that is the starting point for the beginning of development. It was represented the model of ABCD in the form of pyramid of the results which are achieved in the process of community development. We researched chain of community development and community development approach, based on the problems and needs. We emphasized that community development is accompanied by certain changes that must necessarily take place in all spheres of community life. In the result of this study, we formulated the basic conditions of endogenous development.
