Abstract
Dynamically symmetric rigid body on a string suspension is considered. Suspension point performs periodic oscillations. The loss of stability of the system, provided that the length of the suspension is much greater than the distance from the center of mass of the body to the point of attachment rake is investigated. Research is carried out using the Floquet theory. The sufficient conditions of instability are obtained.
