In the article it is considered a problem of vocational training of the future vocational training teachers, labour safety inspectors at course studying ?The organization of supervising activity in the field of labour safety?. Studied the conditions and means of the formation of professional competence and of career growth of the future teacher of vocational training (labour safety), the inspector of a labour safety in of the theory and practice are. It is established that in the process of theory and practical training students develop such positive qualities as: ability to turn obtained theoretical knowledge in professional functions, the need of constant updating their knowledge and skills in practice, efficiency, the desire to self-improvement, responsibility. Also it is established, that activity of the vocational training teacher, the labour safety inspector demands constant professional growth in all education spheres and manufacture that will allow to raise competitiveness in a labour market and to provide manufacture by the qualified labour safety experts.
