Abstract
The paper presents a solution to Saint-Venant problem on a naturally twisted rod stretching by a force applied to the free end section. This solution is constructed in terms of displacements. The displacement vector, the stress tensor and the couple stress components that satisfy the boundary conditions on the basis and on the lateral surface are found.
