Impact of vocational training programme conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra on rural women for income and employment generation

Abstract
The study reveals that majority of rural women were from young age group, all were educated, higher percentage of rural women having medium size of land holding and majority of rural women having medium size of family, highest percentage of rural women having medium use of interpersonal channels, extension participation and mass media exposure and attended two trainings. Use of interpersonal channels, extension participation and mass media exposure had significant association with employment and income generation, whereas age education, size of land holding, Size of family and number of training attended had no significant association with employment and income generation.
