MODERN TRENDS IN STATISTICS OF AGRICULTURAL TERITORIES

This paper addresses the world modern development issues of agricultural and rural statistics. We reviewed in detail the Global Strategy to Improve Agricultural and Rural Statistics prepared by the World Bank in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The paper provides a critical analysis and characteristic of conceptual framework and key element of Global Strategy. The outcomes of the research make possible to define directions for improvement of national strategies for the development of statistics.
