Abstract
The specific conductance (?) of NaCl, KCl, HCOOK and CH3COOK in binary mixtures (methanol-water, ethanolwater and glycerol-water) with the alcohol mass fractions of 10 %, 20 % and 30 % at different temperatures was measured experimentally. The conductivity data have been analyzed using the Fuoss-Edelson conductivity equation. The molar conductance (Λ), the limiting molar conductance (Λ?), the association constants (KA), the Walden product (Λ?η?), the hydrodynamic radii (RH), the activation energy of the transport process (Ea) and the values of ?Gº A, ?Hº A and ?Sº A were calculated and discussed. The effect of both cation and anion on the association behavior was disscused.
