Abstract
Handover occurs when a wireless node switches from one network to another. One of the main requirements of this process is to make it secure by using reliable security mechanisms, but it can decrease performance as well. So it is very essential to maintain balance between security and performance during handover. Different handover security schemes that can provide reliable security as well as performance to a certain level will be discuss in this paper. The goal of this paper is to know, how to maintain balance between handover security and
performance.
