Abstract
Security and privacy concerns are major issues to be considered in Mobile Ad hoc Networking (MANET). Several
routing protocols have been proposed to achieve both routing and data packets security. In order to achieve privacy, the anonymous routing concept has been introduced and few protocols have been proposed for use in this area. In this paper, global position system (GPS) device is used to obtain the current location of nodes and with the help of a cryptographic algorithm incorporated into the existing Optimized Link State Routing protocol (OLSR), it is expected that security services such as authentication, data integrity, privacy and confidentiality will be provided. This work proposes to protect the network against active attacks such as impersonation and modification.
