Abstract
Association rule mining and classification are two important techniques of data mining in knowledge discovery process.
Integration of these two has produced class association rule mining or associative classification techniques, which in many cases have shown better classification accuracy than conventional classifiers. Motivated by this study we have explored and applied the combinatorial mathematics in class association rule mining in this paper. Our algorithm is based on producing combinations of itemsets including classes using combinatorial mathematics and subsequently finds an associative classifier. In our approach, experimental results have given accuracy, near to other popular classification methods.
