REFLECTIONS OF THE POLITICS ON THE CULTURAL AND SOCIAL LIFE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CONCEPTS; “ANSAR AND MUHADJIR”

There is special importance of the concepts of Muhajir and Ansar that were the sub-identity to describe Muslims when the prophet was at Madina. However, there are differences in the usage of those concepts after the prophet. While the concept of Ansar and their usage as an identity was so commonly used, concept of Muhadjir was much less in usage as an identity. Although it was considered to be Muhadjir as a great honor in time of the Prophet, it is interesting that their descendants did not attach themselves to their father’s honorary title “Muhadjir”. In this article, we will deal the political reasons of them.
