KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Two most important concepts of the century in management science are knowledge and technology. Knowledge is the new production factor of the organizations while the technology is the vital part of it. Knowledge management is the most important area of organisational management which deals with intellectual capital as a manageable value. Organisational activities, management models and technology are the tools that are commonly used in knowledge management. Education is seen as the key to knowledge ecology. The effectiveness of education heavily depends upon effective schools, which themselves rely on effectiveness and competency of school administrators on knowledge management. The purpose of this study is examining concepts and applications of knowledge, knowledge management and knowledge management in educational organizations.
