Abstract
The subject of the article is al-Afdal ibn Badr al-Jamali who is a very singnificant character for history of Islam and the era of the Crusades. Unfortunately, in our country, we do not appreciate his works that much, that is I prefer to write about him. After his father Badr al-Jamali’s death, he took the all power and became an important character for the history of Islam. On the other hand, his policy caused to rise of the opposition. The Crusades turned upside down the current situation in the Middle East and it began to change the history. In this article, I will try to explain his importance for the Islamic history and political life.
