Collection and processing of spatial data in GIS for the purpose of establishing and maintaining an unique record and register of spatial units

This work gives an overview on importance and the role of the GIS for the needs of setting up and maintenance of the Single Register of Sapital Units. The article describes the main GIS tools needed for implementation of the tasks during collection and processing of spatial data. Also, the article demonstrates the role and importance of geodesisit (cartographer) in the process of introduction and management of the Single Register of Spatial Units.
