Projecting of geoinformation system in service of electro-distributive firm ''Elektro-Bijeljina'' in Bijeljina

In this paper possibility of development and use of geo/information system (GIS) was described in the service of electro distributive firm “Elektro-Bijeljina” in Bijeljina. In the context of creating the project, from an economic aspect, certain segments of business were compared, especially those in which space information system can be utilized. Problems related to mutual interaction of employees were analyzed, such as a lack of qualitative mutual communication, timely informing and accomplishing office and field assignments. Considering the fact that wrong or ill-timed information can cause a slowdown or a complete block of a certain procedure, project GIS finds these problems as the main challenge, and disadvantage that needs to be reduced.
