MODERN APPROACHES TO TREATMENT OF OBESITY

Obesity is a problem of modern society, which is one of the main risk factors for many diseases. It is known that treatment of obesity is rather complicated not only for the physician but also for the patient. In current clinical practice various methods of treatment of obesity are used: psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, exercise therapy, pharmacotherapy, surgery, physiotherapy. The article highlights modern approaches to the treatment of obesity. The greatest attention is paid to pharmacotherapy.
