PURULENT PERICARDITIS IN A CHILD

Abstract
As the pathology develops infrequently the paper presents clinical manifestations, diagnostics and chosen surgical tactics of treatment of severe septic complication ? purulent pericarditis in a patient aged 6 years. The importance of diagnostic methods: electrocardiography, ultrasonography, X-ray analysis of the thorax, CT, pericardium puncture is presented. Toracotomy, a subtotal pericardectomy and drainage of the cavity of pericardium is the most effective method of surgical treatment of purulent pericarditis.
