Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyze the processes of unification of private international law in the field of non-contractual obligations and its main results. The study analyzes the theoretical aspects of the concept of "unification" and the main international legal instruments that became results of private international law unification process in the field of non-contractual obligations in Europe and comes to a conclusion that today the unification of legal regulation through the adoption of universal and regional international instruments is a trend of private international law in the field of non-contractual obligations. The results of the study are crucial for improvement of the conflict rules adopted in Ukraine in the sphere of non-contractual obligations and further approximation of legislation of Ukraine and the EU in field of international private law regulating non-contractual obligations.
