Abstract
Purpose: to study the results of the surgical treatment and quality of life in the remote postoperative period of patients operated for recurrent inguinal hernia. The examination and survey of 28 patients who underwent recurrent inguinal hernia surgery were performed. Based on the study and survey data it can be stated that the quality of life of patients who had an operation for recurrent inguinal hernias using tension-free repair was significantly higher than when tension hernia repair by Postempsky technique was applied.
