Investigation of welded joint defects by method of form-coefficient

The investigation of defect geometry in a welded joint in dependence of form-coefficient at ultrasonic non-destructive investigation was done in presented work. The investigations were performed on standard factories samples. The samples have a form of a large diameter tube with the artificial flat-bottomed and cylindrical reflectors. The obtained results demonstrate a possibility of application of the described method.
