The possibility of using solid-state luminescence of fluorescein in the example of determination of selenium (IV), the simple and inexpensive meth-od for the quantitative determination of elements. It is established that for the investigated test systems the value of the limit of detection close to the lower boundary is defined by the contents and for Se (IV) 0,001 - 1 mg / l, which allows the determination on the level of MAC.
