Abstract
The influence of phase transformations which take place in carbides of eutectic type iron-carbon alloys on their behavior during pressure treatment is indicated in present work in details. The carbide steels and white cast irons are belonging to such alloys.
The influence of carbide transformations on increasing or decreasing of economy alloyed white cast irons technological plasticity is investigated in current work. It is shown that implementation of phase transitions in metastable carbides could lead to hard deforming materials plasticity increasing in several times as well as to provide their successful pressure treatment under industrial conditions
