Abstract
The article is devoted to the 120th anniversary of the birthday of the outstanding Ukrainian film producer O. Dovzhenko. The activity and creative heritage of the genius film producer are regarded. The authors underline that it is necessary to comprehend creatively the humanistic ideas of O. Dovzhenko in connection with the development of modern Ukrainian film art.
