Abstract
Presents a methodology for the study of the dynamic properties of soils under uniaxial compression. To determine the parameters of dynamic elasticity and viscosity, equipment was developed based on the standard compression device "KPr-1." The underlying principles of the constructed electronic device and high-precision sensors for automated data collection and logging are described. In addition, it is shown that the study of soils at various load velocities enables the determination of the dynamic system parameters for a wide range of loads. The results of experiments conducted on sandy soil are presented as an example.
