ABOUT THE CAUSES OF THE POST-OPERATION HYPOTISEOSIS IN THE PATIENTS WITH THE NODAL COLLOID GOITRE

Abstract

Nodal goitre accounts up to 70% of thyroid gland diseases. During last 16 years 7815 patients with nodal thyroid glands were operated in Ryazan region, 6107 of them (80%) were operated by the authors of this article. The sharp rise of thyroid glands nodal pathology level is observed since 1992 that is 6 years later after the accident in Chernobyl. Most frequently patients with nodal colloid goitre are operated. In the work it is painted out that post-operation hypotireosis development depends not only on the quantity of the retained tissue, but on the availability of lymphoid infiltration in the gland tissue. For the preventive measures of the post-operation hypotireosis in the patients with nodal colloid goitre the authors suggest some measures, which will help to seduce its %.
