EPIDEMIOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF THE PROXIMAL HIP FRACTURES AMONG THE POPULATION OF RYAZAN

Abstract
Epidemiological peculiarities of proximal hip fractures among the population aged of 50 years old and over in Ryazan were studied retrospectivly in the period of 1994-2003. The rise of this disease has been revealed for the last years. The received data are of great important for the osteoporosis problem and they are necessary for the development of regional osteoporosis programme of prevention.
