Abstract
Problem setting. The large-scale introduction of new technologies and nanomaterials will lead not only to technological changes in the industry, medicine, agriculture, but also to certain changes in social relations in society. Therefore, the urgent task is to determine the positive and negative aspects of the implementation of nanotechnologies, the conditions of development of these technologies in Ukraine. Analysis of resent researches and publications. Theoretical and practical aspects of nanotechnology in their work viewed by scholars such as Anderson P., Aoki T., Balabanov V., Vasjutin E.V., Cheng Y., Glazyev S., David J., Guston D., Egorov A.I., Kobayashi H., Kornich G.V., Krasheninnikov A.V., Liao M., Lukyanets V., Maynard A., Ohgi T., Pogosov V.V., Roco M., Scheres S., Simonov D., Taylor M., Feynman R., Yamamoto H., Chumachenko B.A., Wenz P. and others. However, analysis of these studies showed that there are no concurrent views on various aspects of nanotechnologies development, as there is no theoretical basis for the social assessment of nanotechnologies and their future impact. Target of research. The main objective of this work is to study the current trends and achievements in the development of nanotechnologies in Ukraine and the world. Analysis of the problems and obstacles standing in the way of development of these technologies will allow to understand the need to adopt organizational and legal measures to eliminate the identified problems. The lack of consideration of the issues in the scientific literature of the global impact of nanotechnologies on society as a whole in a social context, there is an additional goal of the study of the impact of nanotechnologies on the social sphere of the country. Article’s main body. In the main part of the article the following issues were examined: the concept of nanotechnology, nanoindustry and its technological features; developmental landmarks of nanotechnologies in the world; positive and negative aspects of nanotechnologies; state target program for the development of the nanoindustry; current state and trends of research in nanosystems and nanomaterials in Ukraine; the main problems of the development and distribution of nanotechnologies; the impact of nanotechnologies on the social sphere. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Large economic, scientific and technological prospects of nanotechnologies determine the need for the formation of a unified state policy in this area. At the same time a significant number of issues of national security and the economy is unexplored. Completed developments are of a breakthrough character, but their number is measured in units, and there is no connection between different schools in this direction. Also, there are unresolved questions about the impact of nanotechnologies on our social life, the formation of career of people, quality of life, etc. and still there is a time to study the consequences that may affect society in future.
