Abstract
The view of nativeness and localness in Turkey became a current issue with the effort of Westernization. In other words, nativeness and localness are not in the form of defending a new balance depending on ourselves within the history. It predicts the conformity with the balance on the basis of Western superiority. Kemal Tahir’s nativeness view contradicts to this one.
